Under this agreement, Air India will add its ‘AI’ designator code to ANA’s flights between Tokyo Haneda and Delhi, as well as Tokyo Narita and Mumbai. Similarly, ANA will add its ‘NH’ designator code to Air India’s flight between Tokyo Narita and Delhi.
A Seamless Travel Experience
Katsuya Goto, Member of the Board and Executive Vice President of Alliances and International Affairs at All Nippon Airways, expressed his optimism about the collaboration. He stated

The codeshare flight tickets will be available for booking from April 23, 2024, on the websites of both airlines, offering passengers greater convenience and flexibility in planning their journeys.

Air India is set to receive close to 70 new planes by March 2024, including both narrow-body and wide-body aircraft.
